Where We Are
We are now at 117 East Main Street in Lexington, South Carolina. We are located in the downtown shopping area near The Haven (coffee house) and other stores . There is street parking available, Groucho's parking is also available for our use. If you park in that lot, there is an alley that comes up near the store, avoiding the need to walk around the street corner. You may also use the back parking lot near Cribbs after 5PM. We have not found parking to be a problem. Downtown Lexington has a quaint atmosphere. You can eat, window shop. or buy something special. Check it out for yourself!
We believe in SHOP LOCAL.
Some new Yarn stores have opened in Irmo and Columbia and we hope you shop these, as well as our store. Local shops need your support to stay in business.
Having a local store for yarn gives you the opportunity to see the colors and feel the textures of the yarns. You can see the fabric content and compare it to similiar yarns for substitution in your pattern.
Having a local bead store gives you the opportunity to handle the beads. You can check the quality, consistancy and cut of the beads, as well as knowing that the beads are accurately named.
When you want to start a project, you can pick out what you like and get started right away. No ship time or wondering if or when it's going to arrive.
We still offer free professional advice and help with your bead, knit or crochet project or problems. Call anytime during regular hours. You'll get our best advice because we care about you and your craftwork.
